Privacy Policy

Effective July 19, 2026

BookmarkTV is provided by Bumpfiends / Creative Business. It helps users revisit X bookmarks in Firefox and, when a user explicitly connects the hosted service, search and discuss authorized bookmarks through ChatGPT or Codex.

Information processed

The Firefox extension maintains its local index in Firefox storage. The hosted service may process the X account identifier, username, OAuth tokens, bookmarked post text, author information, dates, post URLs, and synchronization status needed to provide its tools.

Authorization and use

Access to X uses user-approved, read-only OAuth scopes. BookmarkTV does not post, like, repost, follow, reply, delete, or send messages on X. Data is used only to provide requested BookmarkTV synchronization, search, retrieval, and status features.

Storage and service providers

The hosted MCP service runs on Cloudflare. OAuth state and authorization records are stored in Cloudflare KV, while per-user synchronized MCP state may be stored in Cloudflare Durable Objects. Cloudflare may process service and security logs according to its terms. Content sent to ChatGPT or Codex is also processed according to the policies and settings of the user's OpenAI account.

Retention and control

Users can revoke BookmarkTV in their X connected-app settings and disconnect the service in ChatGPT or Codex. Revocation prevents future synchronization. A self-service deletion workflow will be provided before general public launch; until then, do not connect the hosted service if cloud retention is not acceptable.

Security

BookmarkTV uses HTTPS, OAuth authorization, short-lived state validation, and scoped access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their accounts and revoke access if they suspect misuse.
